Morris Buttermaker (Thornton), an alcoholic pest removal worker and former professional baseball player (for a very short time), is recruited to coach and train a failing baseball team of 12 year olds which is about to be thrown out of the league. Although the team does not win the first place in the next championship, it does achieve a great comeback.

This is the worst Bad News Bears Sport film I've seen in a Bad News Bears Sport movie theater. It is truly terrible, and if God would not have been a couple of young nieces there is no way in hell I would have been to the (bitter) end. Yes, I know it was for children, but I used to be a child too and I can tell the difference between good and bad children's entertainment. The completely knackered and worn plot revolves around a hard-drinking ne'er-do-well as coaching a baseball team of Little League misfits and trying to do the least they can get away with a rival until the trainer * p * s making it, and then experienced a "conversion" on the computer and little molds champions. Yes, it sounds very boring - and it is! Every cliche 'you can imagine is pumped full of embalming fluid and wheel again and again (and again). Whenever you run a trailer for a Hollywood Bad News Bears film - any Bad News Bears Sport film - that always show the best bits, but still are fun and should give some clue as to the other 99% of this garbage. Please do not force their children to bear this terrible Bad News Bears Sport movie unless they are very very bad.
